Parenting Apart and Co-Parenting Counseling

This unique six -week course helps separated or divorced parents understand their children’s challenges, learn how to manage conflict with the co-parent, learn skills that promote children’s healthy growth, and effectively navigate the new family landscape. Call 415-491-5723 or email parentingapart@fsamarin.org. FSA can also provide co-parenting counseling for couples with specific challenges that go beyond the help provided in Parenting Apart.

The class has six sessions; we offer sessions on Wednesdays in the evening from 6 to 7:30. The program is offered for a sliding-scale fee that ranges from $15 to $40. Child care is available. An in-person interview is required before admission to the class; interviews are scheduled no later than one week before the class begins.

Both parents are encouraged to attend separate sessions of Parenting Apart.
